Alsace Willm, founded in 1896 by the Willm family, is located 22 miles south of Strasbourg in Barr on the Route du Vin d'Alsace (the Wine Road of Alsace). In 1930 Alsace Willm became the first producer to export its wines to the United States. Today, Alsace Willm produces a wide selection of still and sparkling wines, including Riesling, Tokay Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Muscat and Sylvaner.

Deutz was founded in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann and is one of Champagne's smallest grand marque houses. The Deutz vineyards supply 40 percent of the grapes for its production. Deutz added the Brut Classic non-vintage cuvee to their selection of Champagnes in 1994. Their selections of vintage Cuvee William Deutz, a Blanc de Blancs, a vintage Rosé and a non-vintage Rosé called Marie Damarisse.

The house of Salon was established in the late 19th century when Eugene-Aime Salon decided he was going to make 'the perfect Champagne" for his own consumption. He then purchased the vineyards of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a small grand cru village south of Epernay in the Cote des Blancs, to plant his vineyard.

In 1549 Pierre de Beaucastel purchased a barn and the plot of land around it in Coudoulet. The manor house and vineyards he built on the land still stand to this day. Two centuries later, the vineyard went out of production. in 1909, Gabriel Tramier purchased the property and started to again plant the vineyards. Beaucastel was later passed on to Tramier's son-in-law, scientist Pierre Perrin, and after Perrin to organic viticulturist Jacques Perrin. The traditions these men established are carried on today by current owners of the winery, Jean-Pierre and Francois, who are the sons of Jacques Perrin.
